About the role
Overview
Commis - Bakery & Pastry supporting daily bakery and pastry production across outlets in the United Arab Emirates. Only candidates whose profiles match the specific job requirements will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and production of breads, pastries and desserts following recipes and portion controls.
- Perform mise en place, dough handling, shaping, laminating and finishing to quality standards.
- Operate and monitor ovens, proofers and bakery equipment to ensure product consistency and correct bake times.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene, stock rotation, ingredient prep and assist with packaging and plating.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in bakery and pastry production with reliable technical skills.
- Familiarity with pastry techniques, baking equipment and standard recipe execution.
- Attention to detail, good time management and ability to work well within a kitchen team.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year hands-on bakery or pastry experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Valid work authorization to work in the United Arab Emirates and flexible shift availability.
