Overview

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, student-centered lessons aligned with curriculum goals.

Qualifications

• Degree: A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Primary/Elementary Education, or an initial undergraduate degree (BA/BSc) combined with a teaching certification.
• Certifications: Recognized professional teaching qualifications such as a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education), PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education), QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), or equivalent state/national teaching license.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years of practical primary teaching experience, ideally within an international school or matching the specific school's curriculum framework.
• Curriculum-Specific Preferences

• British Curriculum (National Curriculum for England): Experience teaching KS1/KS2 and familiarity with British standards.

  American Curriculum: Knowledge of Common Core or inquiry-based elementary framework
