Music Teachers

Overview

Teach instrumental and vocal music to school-age students in the United Arab Emirates, delivering engaging lessons, rehearsals and performances.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group music lessons across age ranges with clear planning.
• Lead ensembles, rehearsals and school concerts with strong rehearsal management.
• Develop lesson materials, assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Integrate classroom technology and adapt instruction to varied learner needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Music or Performing Arts from a regular, accredited university (distance or open university degrees are often excluded).
Teaching Certification: A recognized professional teaching qualification such as a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education), PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education), or QTS equivalent.
Curriculum Experience: Proven school-based teaching experience ranging from 2 to 3 years, depending on the specific curriculum (e.g., British, IB, CBSE, or IGCSE).
Core Skills & Requirements
Musical Proficiency: Strong command of one or more instruments—commonly keyboard/piano, vocal skills, or western classical/contemporary instruments depending on the role.
Extracurricular Involvement: Willingness to lead school concerts, choirs, instrumental ensembles, and community events.
