Laundry Worker- Female

Main Du es and Responsibili es
 Receive and sort dirty linen, towels, uniforms, and other fabric items.
 Separate laundry according to colour, fabric type, level of soiling, and washing
requirements.
 Load and unload industrial washing machines and dryers.
 Use detergents, disinfectants, and other laundry products safely and in the correct
quan es.
 Operate washing machines, dryers, irons, presses, and other laundry equipment.
 Iron, fold, count, organize, and prepare clean items for delivery.
 Inspect washed items for stains, damage, or inadequate cleaning.
 Rewash or report items that do not meet the required quality standards.
 Maintain accurate records of received and processed laundry when required.
 Keep the laundry room, machines, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
 Report damaged items, equipment malfunc ons, or unsafe condi ons to the supervisor.
 Follow all hygiene, health, safety, and infec on-control procedures.
 Wear the required uniform and personal protec ve equipment.
 Perform other related laundry du es assigned by the supervisor
