Commis Ii - Bakery/pastry

Overview

Commis II - Bakery/Pastry supporting daily production of breads, viennoiserie and pastries for a commercial kitchen in Kuwait. Works with senior pastry chefs to maintain consistent product quality and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake products to standardized recipes with consistent portioning and presentation.
• Perform dough handling, laminations, fillings and basic pastry finishing.
• Maintain station cleanliness, HACCP food‑safety standards and correct ingredient rotation.
• Assist senior pastry chefs with prep, inventory checks and shift handovers.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in mixing, scaling, baking timing and basic finishing techniques.
• Practical experience with dough handling, laminations and pastry decoration.
• Familiarity with HACCP and hygiene protocols in a commercial bakery environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year professional bakery/pastry experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Able to work rotating shifts in a high‑volume kitchen in Kuwait and follow hygiene protocols.
