Overview

Sushi Commi position in Saudi Arabia supporting the sushi station in a professional kitchen, preparing sushi and assisting senior chefs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi, sashimi and maki to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Portion, assemble and plate items consistently during service.
• Maintain strict hygiene, safe food handling and proper ingredient storage.
• Assist senior chefs with prep, inventory rotation and station setup.

Qualifications

• Proven sushi preparation skills and precise knife handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under service pressure.
• Familiarity with Japanese ingredients, portion control and plating aesthetics.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a sushi commis or in a similar role in a commercial kitchen.
• Available for relocation to Saudi Arabia and able to work the local shift and weekend pattern.
