About the role
Overview
Heavy Equipment Operator for construction projects in Croatia. Operate bulldozers, backhoes and excavators while following safety procedures and performing routine equipment checks.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (bulldozers, backhoes, excavators) on site safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and report mechanical issues.
- Follow site safety protocols and maintain a tidy work area.
- Coordinate with site teams to meet project schedules and task assignments.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license for heavy vehicle operation and relevant equipment certifications preferred.
- Proven ability to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
- Clear understanding of construction site safety procedures and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on heavy equipment operation experience.
- Availability for work in Croatia for the assignment period (1 April – 22 May 2026) and ability to travel as required.
