About the role
We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Light Duty Mechanic.
Job Description
In this role, you will assist in performing preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair various types of light duty vehicles. You will work under the guidance of a senior mechanic and adhere to safety procedures and protocols. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining records of services, identifying mechanical problems, and determining best ways to repair them.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a vocational or technical training in auto repair. They should have a valid driver's license, and any relevant certifications would be a plus. The candidate should have a basic understanding of automotive systems and should be able to work in a team environment.
