About the role
We are seeking skilled Heavy Vehicle Drivers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe and timely manner, ensuring all cargo is secure, and maintaining vehicle operational standards.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include driving long distances, following all traffic laws, inspecting the truck before and after each trip, loading and unloading cargo, maintaining a clean vehicle, and reporting any issues or incidents to dispatch. You will also be responsible for planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.
Qualifications
The candidate should hold a valid truck driving license and possess a clean driving record. They should have proven work experience as a truck driver and be able to drive for extended periods. Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations is required. No specific degree is necessary, but a high school diploma is preferred. Physical health and stamina are essential for this role.
