Riggers

We are seeking skilled Riggers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for setting up and repairing rigging for construction projects, manufacturing plants, logging yards and shipyards.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include: setting up, aligning and leveling heavy equipment machinery, selecting gear such as cables, pulleys and winches according to load weights and sizes, controlling movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, inspecting and testing rigging to ensure safety and reliability, and dismantling and storing rigging equipment after use.

Qualifications

Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a rigging apprenticeship, proven experience as a Rigger, and in-depth knowledge of safety standards and procedures. Physical strength and stamina, manual dexterity and the ability to work at heights are also required.
