Job Description
The Shipyard Welder's responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, using welding tools and equipment to assemble and repair ship structures, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. The Welder will also be responsible for inspecting structures and equipment for defects and reporting any issues to management.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience in a similar role, proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, and a strong understanding of safety protocols. Welding certification from a recognized institution is preferred.
