We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2nd Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will assist in the preparation and presentation of innovative and high-quality dishes.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include assisting the senior chefs in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, learning and adapting to new cooking techniques and recipes, and ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards. You will also contribute to menu development and have the opportunity to express your creativity.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a professional cooking certification, previous experience in a similar role, have excellent time management skills, be able to work in a team, and have a genuine passion for food and cooking. Knowledge of different cuisines and dietary restrictions is a plus.
