About the role
Overview
Commis to support kitchen operations in the United Arab Emirates, preparing ingredients and assisting chefs to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes. Only candidates whose profiles match the specific job requirements will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion and mise en place ingredients according to recipes.
- Support station chefs during service to ensure timely plating and quality control.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and proper food-handling practices.
- Assist with stock rotation, basic prep tasks and opening/closing duties.
Qualifications
- Competent knife skills and basic cooking techniques.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Strong teamwork, time-management and ability to follow instructions under pressure.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on kitchen or commis experience.
- Legally eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates.
