Overview
Art Teachers will design and deliver visual arts instruction to students in the United Arab Emirates, fostering creativity and skill development across traditional and digital media. The role includes lesson preparation, student assessment, and maintaining a safe, organized art studio.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate art lessons across multiple media.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive, individualized feedback.
- Maintain classroom safety, manage materials, and supervise studio activities.
- Collaborate with staff to support cross-curricular initiatives and exhibitions.
A bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree is a must
2 consecutive years of school teaching experience
Qualifications
- Demonstrated teaching experience in visual arts with a strong professional portfolio.
- Proficiency in traditional and digital art techniques and effective classroom management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners.
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art & Design, or Art Education paired with a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education)
- Specialized training or strong subject knowledge in drawing, painting, crafts, and mixed media
